At the core of everything we do are our PEAK values and leadership principles. These are the driving forces behind all facets of our work, including our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. We build DEI into the DNA of our work so every team, and every employee, has the opportunity to succeed.

Our DEI Commitment

For G2 to be “everywhere you go for software” and the globally trusted source of data in the age of AI, we must serve wider audiences and expand our customer base globally. This requires fostering an inclusive and representative workplace where diverse backgrounds and perspectives are valued, and all employees have the opportunity to climb to their next professional PEAK—ultimately leading to more innovation and business success.

Diversity @ G2

People are the heart of G2. While high performance, entrepreneurial spirit, authenticity, and kindness are the foundations of our culture, so are the differences and unique perspectives each G2er brings to their work each day.

We are building a G2 team that is representative of the communities and regions we work and operate in. Today, the G2 global team is made up of over 600 people who are uniquely talented and dedicated across 8 countries around the world.

We believe that accountability starts with transparency, so we share our *key diversity workforce metrics to highlight where we are in our journey to building a more diverse and inclusive company.

Equity @ G2

We believe equity is the opportunity for all employees to reach their PEAK, regardless of background, gender, race, or other factors. That’s why our work on equity focuses on global pay and career development transparency. 

Our global PEAK Career Paths Framework leads the way in our industry for providing consistency and clarity around our compensation philosophy and growth opportunities for every G2 employee, at every career level, around the world.

In 2024, we completed the rollout of global pay transparency at G2. We are proud to be one of the few in our industry to practice company-wide pay transparency. 

Inclusivity @ G2

We believe that inclusivity means every G2er feels welcomed, respected, and supported. We lean into our values of authenticity and kindness to build a community and culture where we listen to each other, are open and curious, and lead with respect and compassion.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

The G2 ERG network, made up of nine unique groups, is the heart and soul of the G2 community. Our ERGs empower employees to celebrate what makes them unique, bond with those who may share a similar experience and background, and educate and connect with those who identify as allies to their group.

Global Mentorship Program

In 2022, we proudly launched our Global Mentorship Program to promote connection of employees—across teams and regions— to G2's leaders and tenured employees. The goal is to help mentees reach their professional and personal peaks. In 2024, over 120 G2ers have participated in this development-focused program.

DEI + G2 Gives

Our DEI efforts also work in tandem with G2 Gives, G2’s philanthropic arm. G2 Gives aims to make a difference in the world through charitable partnerships, local and community action, and financial giving. We do this through collecting reviews for donations, employee-led global regional teams that work at local level, in-person volunteer events, and our commitment to Pledge 1%.
