Soon enough, the leaves will turn as pumpkin-spiced lattes return to menus. And here in the U.S., football will take over household TV screens. It's time to close out summer as the software world gears up for the next season.

And that can only mean one thing — G2's Fall 2026 Reports have arrived!

The thousands of quarterly Market Reports feature rankings of software products and services providers based on the latest data. To discover the right tools for your business, just filter by category, product, segment, and report type, all available with a quick, free log-in to g2.com/reports.

Over the last quarter, we’ve added 702 reports, bringing the total to 28,042! Even with all these brand-new G2 Fall 2026 Reports, just 2% of the software products and services providers on G2 received a Leader badge.

Every report season tells a story about where the market's headed, and this one is no exception. From reports on brand new categories, to emerging brands breaking in for the first time, and established Leaders extending their leads, the companies featured here earned their spots through real user feedback. Congratulations to everyone recognized this season. Your presence in these rankings is a direct reflection of the trust your customers place in you.

Let’s dive right into which vendors and products won big in Fall 2026 and the other trends we’ve seen over the past quarter.

Let’s dive into the categories on G2 that featured a Grid® Report for the first time this season. For context, not all G2 categories are reflected in our quarterly Market Reports. We first ensure there is enough data to support the analysis and rankings. According to our G2 Methodology, a software or service category becomes eligible for a Grid® Report when it has at least 6 products with more than 10 reviews and a total of at least 150 reviews.

These are the 17 new report-ready categories this quarter.

New report ready categories

  • AI SDK: Provide developers with prebuilt components, libraries, and tooling to embed AI capabilities directly into applications.
  • AI AppSec Assistants: Apply AI and machine learning to help developers identify and fix security vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle, embedding directly into development environments to provide real-time application security insights, contextual explanations, and automated or semi-automated remediation guidance.
  • Zero Trust Platforms: Embrace a strategic security concept and framework built on the principle that no implicit trust is granted to entities, assets, user accounts, digital assets, or connections based solely on simple factors.
  • Network as a Service (NaaS) Platforms: Provide cloud-based network capabilities, such as connectivity, security, traffic optimization, and monitoring, through a centralized, virtualized environment.
  • Large Language Models (LLMs): Developed to understand and interact with human language at scale, and are trained on vast amounts of text data to predict plausible language and maintain a natural flow.
  • Software Design Platforms: Allow users to diagram and create blueprints of web pages or applications, and then create incomplete or preliminary versions of that software.
  • Call Compliance: Help companies comply with do-not-call regulations and avoid hefty penalties or brand damage.
  • AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM) Tools: Discover, monitor, assess, and remediate AI security misconfigurations — giving security teams visibility into which AI applications are connected to enterprise systems, what data they access, and how AI agents behave, while providing controls to prevent sensitive data exposure and block unauthorized AI actions.
  • Non-Human Identity Management (NHIM) Solutions: Govern and provision digital identities belonging to non-human entities within organizations, including devices, cloud workloads, AI agents, service accounts, applications, bots, IoT hardware, and automated pipelines — managing how these machine identities are created, secured, granted permissions, monitored, and retired.
  • Population Health Management: Enable healthcare organizations and providers to better create patient care plans, track patient outcomes, and achieve measurable improvements in the health outcomes of a community.
  • Nutritionist: Utilized by dietitians, nutritionists, and nutrition or health coaches who are heavily involved in the client journey and follow a high-touch process where they maintain consistent communication with the patients or clients.
  • Pet Sitting and Daycare: Designed to help pet sitters and pet daycare owners run their businesses — helping them manage their schedules, maintain records for each owner and animal, and perform administrative tasks such as inventory management and accounting.
  • Relocation Management: Provides HR personnel and mobility professionals with relocation solutions and includes the necessary features to track, administer, and manage relocation benefits and programs.
  • Cloud GTM Platforms: Enable users to list, transact, and co-sell on Cloud Marketplaces via a single platform, streamlining and synchronizing the journey between cloud providers, Cloud Independent Software Vendors (ISV), partners, and buyers.
  • Other GRC Tools: Designed to help organizations manage their governance processes, assess and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Apparel Business Management and ERP: Assists clothing suppliers with the ordering and manufacturing process, and may offer features such as customization, product display, sales order fulfillment, and inventory management and planning, among others.
  • Entity Management: Help companies define and manage business entities across multiple locations, while tracking legal persons, subsidiaries, shareholders, and capitalization tables. It also provides features for document management, e-signature, workflow automation, organization charts, as well as privacy and security.
