G2’s Blue Bowen recently published an Insight Report highlighting AI’s Impact on Sales. In this report, Blue shares key strategies to leverage AI effectively today. Currently, the most common use for AI in sales is pipeline development, with AI SDRs being the top use case:

AI SDRs, particularly those focused on inbound, excel at communicating to prospects efficiently, which is crucial in this competitive environment. In fact, G2’s April 2025 survey revealed that vendor responsiveness and support is the 3rd most influential factor in a buyer's final selection of a software solution."

To determine the top Market Movers in a software category, we identify the top three products from vendors with less than 2,500 employees according to the following set of key criteria (taking into account their percent change from the previous year):
- Reviews: Products with the most reviews left on G2.com over the past year
- G2 Profile Views: Most page views over the past year
- Unique Buyer Intent Visitors: Most unique buyer intent visitors over the past year (visitors that are verified as in-market buyers according to firmographic data)
Because we’re aiming to highlight up-and-coming players in a particular space, we are only including products whose companies have fewer than 2,500 employees. I’d also like to note that in uncovering our Market Movers, we are taking into consideration all products within this specific category, not just products whose main category is AI SDR Software.
