Join G2 at Oracle OpenWorld to Help Raise Money for Girls Who Code

September 9, 2019

G2 is ready for OpenWorld 2019, and we will be there next week with 60,000+ of our fellow leaders in technology, coming together in downtown San Francisco for one remarkable event. G2 is not just attending - we will be there to connect and share our ideas, our skills and our vision. Most importantly, G2 will be at OpenWorld to give back to the community alongside Oracle, through G2 Gives and what we do best:  reviews.

We're changing the way decisions are made. Until recently, selecting business solutions was hard, risky, and inherently biased. G2's real-time and unbiased user reviews help you objectively assess what is best for your business.

Oracle is reimagining how its events are done with OpenWorld and how it drives sustainability and contributes to the community of San Francisco. Every OpenWorld is followed by an Event Sustainability Report, with one of its goals to ‘Give Back.’ In 2018, Oracle donated 45 trees, 630 pounds of T-shirts, 4,800 pounds of backpacks and 1,680 leftover meals.

G2 has collaborated with Oracle to truly change the world. With every review at OpenWorld 2019, G2 will be raising money for Girls Who Code. Tech jobs are among the fastest growing in the country, yet girls are being left behind. While interest in computer science ebbs over time, the biggest drop off happens between the ages of 13-17.

Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology. For each review of an Oracle product, $10 will be donated to Girls Who Code.

To date, G2 Gives, the philanthropic arm of G2, has donated over $75K in direct support of Girls Who Code programs, and we cannot wait to give back even more! With your help, we can grow our impact!

Stop by one of G2’s three review booths at #OpenWorld2019, write a review of your favorite Oracle product, and be part of supporting Girls Who Code! Learn more about G2 Gives at https://culture.g2.com/gives.
