The lingering snow has melted, the sun is finally hanging around past 5:00 p.m., and the pollen is in the air, which can only mean that spring is upon us! It’s time to trade the blankets for some fresh air and sunshine as we shake off the winter hibernation for a much-needed fresh start.
Now that we’re leaning into the season of new beginnings, it also means that G2’s Spring 2026 Reports have arrived!
The thousands of quarterly Market Reports feature rankings of software products and services based on the latest data. Discover the tools right for your business — it’s simple to filter by category, product, segment, and report type — all available with a quick, free log-in to g2.com/reports.
Over the last quarter, we’ve added roughly 1.72% more reports, totaling 27,019! Even with all of these brand-new G2 Spring 2026 Reports, just 3% of the software products and services on G2 received a Leader badge.
We are thrilled to recognize the G2 Leaders defining the top-right quadrant and to applaud every company represented in this latest release. Whether you’re climbing the rankings for the first time, maintaining your status as a category staple, or diversifying your reach across the market, your presence in these reports reflects the voice of your users. Congratulations to all those featured on your continued success!
Let’s dive right into which vendors and products won big in Spring 2026 and the other trends we’ve seen over the past quarter.

For starters, Zoho climbed from fourth to second, appearing in 1,076 more reports – representing a 32% increase in report presence in a single quarter. And Microsoft appears in 122 more reports!

There are over 2,000 software and service categories on G2, with 1,351 represented in our Spring 2026 reports.
It’s no surprise that so many AI categories made the list this year, as Agentic AI took our number one spot with 30 products added, with AI Agents on its heels with 26. Three other AI categories made this list – including most notably, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), which is new to the list this quarter.
It’s noteworthy that Agentic AI is at the top of this list this quarter, as it was the second-fastest-growing category last quarter with 24 products added. Also of note, AEO made its debut in our Winter Report as a new “report-ready” category, so it’s extra exciting to see that just one quarter later, AEO has matured into a "Top Product Growth" category, with 12 new products added this season.

Now, let’s dive into the categories on G2 that feature a Grid® Report for the first time. Not all categories on G2 are reflected in our Reports. We first need to make sure there is enough data to support the analysis and rankings. According to our G2 Methodology, a software or service category becomes eligible for a Grid® Report when it has at least 6 products with over 10 reviews and over 150 reviews overall.
These are the 16 new report-ready categories this quarter.
