The sunscreen is on, the grill is fired up, and the days are so long you're losing track of time, which can only mean that summer is in full swing! It's time to trade the conference rooms for a lawn chair and soak up the season as the software world heats up with new trends.
Now that temperatures are peaking, it means that G2's Summer 2026 Reports have arrived!
The thousands of quarterly Market Reports feature rankings of software products and services providers based on the latest data. To discover the tools right for your business, just filter by category, product, segment, and report type, all available with a quick, free log-in to g2.com/reports.
Over the last quarter, we’ve added 323 reports, bringing the total to 27,340! Even with all these brand-new G2 Summer 2026 Reports, only 2% of the software products and services providers on G2 received a Leader badge.
We are thrilled to recognize the G2 Leaders dominating the top-right quadrant and to celebrate every company represented in this latest release. Whether you’re climbing the rankings for the first time, maintaining your status as a category staple, or diversifying your reach across the market, your presence in these reports reflects the voice of your users. Let’s dive right into which vendors and products won big in Summer 2026 and the other trends we’ve seen over the past quarter.
While the top 10 list of companies featured most frequently in reports remains unchanged from last quarter, there is some exciting momentum among the vendors.
For instance, Adobe gained an impressive 704 reports this quarter, the biggest single-quarter jump in the top 10 list. Also noteworthy is that SAP gained 407 reports, while IBM appears in 218 more reports.

Regarding the top 10 products with the most G2 reports, ClickUp continues to hold its number one spot with 1,598 reports across 38 categories — snagging 9 more reports than last quarter.
Also worth highlighting is that SAP SuccessFactors HCM is new to this list this quarter. In terms of momentum, Rippling moved from the seventh to the fifth spot.

Let’s now take a look at the top performances by G2 Score, based on reviews gathered from our user community and data aggregated from online sources and social networks. We apply a unique algorithm to this data to calculate the customer Satisfaction and Market Presence scores in real time.
Canva is holding strong to its crown from last season by widening the gap, improving its G2 Score from 89.24 in Spring to 89.94 this season.
We'd like to welcome OpenAI as a newcomer to this list for the season! This is a notable milestone for a company that, unlike its peers on this list, doesn't sell software so much as power it.

The battle for the top product by G2 Score is always a fun one to watch, and there are several shakeups this quarter. Microsoft SharePoint snagged the top spot after being in second last quarter. There are some other new names to this list, too, including Behance and PayPal Payments.

Now, let’s acknowledge some of the most improved products this past season. Attio deserves a callout for jumping 143 spots in our CRM category. Personio also made major moves, improving 131 spots in the Survey category.

Several products grew enough over the last three months to move into the #1 spot in their respective categories. When it comes to the most improved #1-ranked products, Paycom takes the cake for seeing the most significant leap. This product rose from the 21st spot to #1 in the Microlearning Platforms category.
The rank change list is another fun one to watch, as it always features a wide range of categories — from Digital Adoption Platforms to Hotel Reservations.

It’s no surprise that so many AI categories made the list this year – especially those related to agents. Agentic AI held strong to its #1 spot from last quarter (adding 26 products), with AI Agents on its heels (adding 21), and AEO following in third (adding 14).

Now, let’s dive into the categories on G2 that feature a Grid® Report for the first time. Not all G2 categories are reflected in our Reports. We first need to make sure there is enough data to support the analysis and rankings. According to our G2 Methodology, a software or service category becomes eligible for a Grid® Report when it has at least 6 products with over 10 reviews and a total of over 150 reviews.
