Introducing Shreyans Dugar as Head of G2 India

In 2019, G2 opened its Asia Pacific headquarters in the burgeoning tech hub of Bengaluru, India. Since then, the team has thrived, growing to more than 170 employees. Earlier this year, G2 was even named among India’s most visionary and evolved organizations by the Economic Times as part of their Future Ready Organization Awards.

We’re proud to have taken the next step in bolstering our presence in the region with the appointment of Shreyans Dugar as Head of G2 India. In this role, Shreyans will oversee G2’s India operations, serving as the brand ambassador and country manager. He will lead and grow the local G2 team, accelerating our global vision to be the place you go for software. 

With a diverse leadership career spanning over two decades in Technology Delivery, Operations, Strategy, and Program Management, Shreyans has contributed extensively to organizations’ transformation journeys across sectors. His experience building cultures of seamless delivery, collaboration, and innovation makes Shreyans the ideal leader to inspire our team in India. 

Shreyans comes to G2 from Hudson’s Bay Company, serving as Vice President, Technology Transformation & Strategy, where he was responsible for overall operations and leadership of the site, establishing India as an integral part of the retail business operations and technology functions. Before that, he spent 14 years at Fidelity Investments, most recently holding the position of Vice President, Enterprise Technology. There, he led a large team of engineers, operations associates, and architects to deliver new solutions to provide a reliable, scalable, and secure environment for the enterprise.

Shreyans has already hit the ground running as the newest member of our global G2 Product R&D leadership team. When I spoke with him about his aspirations for this role, he noted: “I’m looking forward to supporting the company’s global growth by building a high-performing, purpose-driven and engaged workforce in India. I also see the opportunity to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and create an environment where inclusion is at the center of all decisions.” 

An outcomes-driven business leader with proven expertise in growing teams and delivering solutions in India, Shreyens has a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier’s College Kolkata, and a Masters in Business Administration in Information Systems from NMIMS Mumbai.
