G2 Opens Asia Pacific Headquarters in India’s Talent Hub, Bengaluru

July 1, 2019

G2 is growing. What started as a way for business software users to rate and review products has grown into the world’s largest marketplace that helps buyers discover, buy and manage business technology. Now, G2 is expanding its global footprint with the opening of our Asia Pacific headquarters in Bengaluru, India.

Through last year’s acquisition, we brought together the best of Siftery and G2 to create G2 Track, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) management tool that helps business improve how it uses technology by providing transparency into software spend, usage, employee experience, vendor contracts, and compliance.

With G2’s expansion into solving the pain points of CIOs and CFOs eager for this solution, grows infinite new opportunity. With this expansion into new markets, G2 is also expanding its reach. We are establishing our Asia Pacific Headquarters in Bengaluru, India.

Bengaluru has rapidly evolved as a startup hub over the last decade. As a startup founder, I watched this transformation firsthand - and helped plant its early seeds by launching Siftery in 2015. Just a few years later, It gives me immense joy to unveil G2’s brand new, beautifully designed Bengaluru office. When opportunity and vision meet creative energy and deep expertise, magic happens. G2 has the opportunity as well as the vision — and we’re on our way to being the #1 marketplace in the software and AI-driven fourth industrial revolution.

G2 is a company passionate about investing in people and we intend to invest in the amazing engineering, research, data science, and operations talent Bengaluru has to offer and exponentially grow our team here. Who doesn’t like a bit of magic, come join us!
