1. Revenue AI
About this category: Revenue AI platforms use AI agents to run key sales activities that boost productivity and drive revenue outcomes. The AI agents in the platform analyze revenue intelligence and customer interaction insights from customer relationship management (CRM) and other data sources. Based on these insights, they make decisions or recommend next steps that support more effective selling.
The insights get translated into action to help sales representatives handle tedious or routine tasks and orchestrate workflows across revenue operations, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. As a result, Revenue AI platforms help RevOps and go-to-market (GTM) teams improve forecasting, pipeline management, coaching, and customer engagement with more efficiency, consistency, and speed.

These platforms increasingly use AI to analyze EHRs, medical imaging, and patient risks. This software enables professionals to obtain information from various AI knowledge bases to identify missed diagnoses or suggest alternative care plans.
Why it was introduced: "AI is becoming increasingly more common in healthcare technology, with AI medical diagnostic platforms being one of the primary examples. G2’s 2025 Insights Report on Agentic AI reveals healthcare’s growing interest in incorporating AI, with 24% of budgets investing in agents exceeding $5 million.”

About this category: AI interview agents create a go-to interview assistant for recruiters, smoothing the logistical and information-gathering parts of interviewing. We recognized a gap in our G2 taxonomy and in how recruiters are using AI in this space. To ensure our buyers have the best possible options, we wanted to offer a way to connect with vendors that specialize in interviewing, not just AI recruiting in general.
Why it was introduced: "AI Interview Agents category combines candidate tracking, scheduling, automated engagement, video hosting, and AI-generated scorecards and insights to assist recruiters with the interview process. Unlike our AI Recruiting category, which focuses on the entire hiring funnel, AI Interview Agents narrow in on the day-to-day hassles with setting up interviews, checking bias, and ensuring a smoother experience."

About this category: IT financial management (ITFM) software helps organizations plan, allocate, and optimize technology spend across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, software, and shared services. These tools offer cost modeling, budgeting, showback or chargeback, and service-level cost reporting to help IT and finance leaders align spend with business outcomes.
Why it was introduced: “As IT becomes a major driver of enterprise cost — and value — CIOs and CFOs need dedicated platforms to manage financial accountability across complex environments. ITFM software supports IT financial management with granular, business-aligned financial insights that general FP&A or cloud cost management tools can’t deliver.”

The Media & Document Accessibility software category helps buyers identify purpose-built solutions that address non-web accessibility challenges, support regulatory compliance, and enable organizations to create truly inclusive content experiences across all digital formats.”
