EMEA Vendors: Enter G2’s Summer 2024 Badge Bonanza Competition on LinkedIn!

Every season, when G2’s quarterly reports publish, I look forward to logging onto LinkedIn and perusing the loads of G2 badges dominating my feed. Take last season for example, where G2 released more than 20,000 reports – across  various categories, company segments, geographic regions, and eight different report types. 

As the world’s largest software marketplace, these reports are backed by the latest and greatest data to help software buyers find the best solutions for their unique needs. It is never promised that a product will maintain its spot each quarter, as rankings shift — all based on the most recent reviews gathered from our user community, as well as data aggregated from online sources and social networks.

But I think it’s time to celebrate not just the report rankings, but those who find ways to stand out from the crowd in how they promote their G2 badges too. As we look ahead to Summer Reports – which will be published on 2nd July – we’re going to do just that. 

As G2’s Senior Manager of EMEA Marketing, I am proud to introduce G2’s inaugural Badge Bonanza for EMEA vendors earning badges in our upcoming Summer 2024 reports. So without further ado, EMEA software and services vendors, if you’re up for a little friendly competition, read on. 

About the competition: 

G2’s Badge Bonanza is a LinkedIn contest for EMEA vendors earning badges from G2’s Summer 2024 Reports. Winners will be selected by a G2 judging committee comprised of EMEA and Global Marketing leaders and celebrated across the following 4 categories: 

📈    Highest Engagement

😄    Most Fun, Quirky, or Clever

🎥    Best Use of Video

🏆    G2 Panel's Top Pick

The winners across these categories will be spotlighted in G2 social posts and featured in a dedicated blog post announcement. They’ll also receive a free G2 Buyer Intent data snapshot to power up their marketing – and a surprise prize 👀 !

How to enter

  • If you are an EMEA vendor earning a badge(s) in G2’s Summer 2024 Reports, simply create and publish a post on LinkedIn celebrating your badge between 2nd & 12th July  (do NOT post before this date as reports will not yet be live)
  • You must tag @G2 and include the hashtag #G2BadgeBonanza
  • Consider the 4 categories above, catering to what the judging committee might be most compelled by
  • Feel free to create multiple posts to increase your chances of winning
  • Be sure to follow G2’s Content and Data Guidelines
  • Submissions shared via company and individual LinkedIn pages will be eligible (we encourage sharing from both for maximum reach & engagement!) -- as long as the above guidelines are followed and it is clear which company is being nominated. 

What happens once the nominations are in: 

  • Judging will commence the week of 15th July
  • Winners will be notified on 24th July; prizes will be delivered shortly after
  • Winners will then be publicly announced in a blog post on 25th July and celebrated via social posts in late July/early August
