September 10, 2025
The humidity is retreating, the air finally feels a little brisk – which can only mean one thing…Autumn is here. It’s time to sip a pumpkin spice latte while wearing your favorite flannel, visit the apple orchard, and rake up the leaves in the yard. (It’s still 90 degrees and humid here in Atlanta, but a man can dream!)
And as the seasons change, so do the trends in the software and services market. So now that it’s time for cooler weather and pumpkin carving, that must mean that G2’s Fall 2025 Reports have arrived!
The thousands of quarterly Market Reports feature rankings of software products and services based on the latest data. Discover the tools right for your business — filtering by category, geographic region, company, segment, and report type — available with a quick, free log-in to my.g2.com.
Over the last quarter, we’ve added roughly 1,300 more reports, totaling 26,270! Even with all of these brand-new G2 Fall 2025 Reports, only 3% of the software and services on G2 received a Leader badge.
We love to celebrate the G2 Leaders who have earned a coveted spot in the top right quadrant of our reports and to congratulate all vendors featured this season. Whether you’re a growing name in your category, an established player in the game, someone expanding into new categories, or enthusiastic about improving your prior rankings – congratulations on earning your well-deserved spot in our reports.
Let’s take a look at which vendors and products won big in Fall 2025 and the other trends we’ve seen over the past quarter.
The top 10 companies with the most reports remained intact from last season, with HubSpot and AWS flipping spots this quarter, as HubSpot moved to 9th and AWS to 10th. Additionally, Microsoft appeared in 91 more reports than last quarter, while Google gained 78 more mentions.

Now, let’s dive into the categories on G2 that feature a Grid® Report for the first time. Not all categories on G2 are reflected in our Reports. We first need to make sure there is enough data to support the analysis and rankings. According to our G2 Methodology, a software or service category becomes eligible for a Grid® Report when it has at least six products with over 10 reviews and over 150 reviews overall.
These are the six new report-ready categories this quarter.
