It’s an exciting day in the world of B2B software because we’ve just revealed G2’s 2025 Best Software Award winners! In their ninth year running, these annual awards celebrate hundreds of software companies and products recognized across 44 lists!
Millions of buyers visited G2 over the past year to find the best software to do their best work, and it’s their feedback that guides these awards. That’s what makes the Best Software Awards so special. There’s no subjective judging committee to decide the winners.
Instead, customers’ feedback—via verified reviews published on G2 only from the prior calendar year—informs our scoring algorithm. So, not only is the scoring based on the authentic voice of real customers, but it’s also their most recent feedback that’s considered, which is why we tend to see shake-ups on these lists from year to year.
With all of that in mind, let’s not wait any longer! It’s time to announce this year’s Best Software Award winners!
Just 0.87% of the over 150,000 vendors listed on G2 were awarded a placement across this year’s list – but who were the standouts?
There’s always a handful of lists that are the most coveted to win – so let’s dive into some of them, including the key trends we’re seeing, and who came out on top.
Of the 100 winners appearing on our list for Best Software Products, here are the top three.
Best Software Products: 1) Salesforce Sales Cloud 2) KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training 3) Asana
There's quite a bit of volatility year-over-year in this list, as over half of these products did not appear in 2024! Some new additions this year include: Fiverr, Semrush, Zoho Recruit, Gemini, project44, and LinkedIn Recruiter. Additionally, Salesforce Sales Cloud moved from the #20 spot to the top spot this year. And, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training snagged the #2 spot, despite not being featured on this list for 2024.

Best Global Software Companies: 1) Salesforce 2) Google 3) HubSpot
You’ll definitely see some names you recognize on our global companies list. As we look at this year’s winners, 34 are new entrants to this list — representing a 34% change since the 2024 Best Software Awards.
There was also some interesting movement to recognize – as Google went from 29th last year to second this year. And some new names to the list include UKG, Amazon Web Services, Semrush, and PayPal.
While we love seeing the overall company and product winners, let’s examine some of the more tailored lists.

Fastest-Growing Products: 1) HeyGen 2) Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training 3) Instantly
With the rise of AI content creation, an AI Video Generator takes the number one spot for the fastest-growing product. Congratulations to HeyGen – which ranked 22nd on this list in 2024!
When looking at this year’s winners, 88 are new entrants to this list.. There are some notable newcomers, including Huntress Management Security Awareness Training, Scribe, Supademo, Success.AI, ChatGPT, and Rippling!
Nothing beats a satisfied customer! Here are the top-ranked products on our Highest Satisfaction Products list for 2025.
Highest Satisfaction Products: 1) Seamless.AI 2) Yodeck 3) OptiSigns
The products on this list feature a wide range of software categories, underscoring that any product in any category can deliver an exceptional user experience for high satisfaction ratings. For example, in the top five, we see products spanning Sales Intelligence Software, Digital Signage Software, Conversation Intelligence Software, and Fleet Management Software!
This list also experienced some significant movements over the past year, as Seamless.AI moved from #82 to the coveted #1 spot this year! Some of the new entrants to this list for 2025 include YoDeck, OptiSigns, Motive, Asana, and NinjaOne.
Another list worth calling out is G2’s “Rookies of the Year” winners. To be considered, a product must have received its first review in 2024. Think of these newbies as products to keep an eye on throughout 2025.

Receiving even one Best Software Award is something to be incredibly proud of, but some vendors went above and beyond — landing multiple wins across our 44 lists.
These three enterprise leaders deserve a special shout-out, as Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce are the only vendors with more than 30 mentions!
From a product perspective, Rippling, UKG Ready, Sprout Social, HubSpot Marketing Hub, and Salesforce Sales Cloud all received six mentions, Asana and Smartsheet secured five mentions, and ChatGPT and Motive both snagged four.
