G2’s Summer Reports: Turning Up the Heat on Trends Across 25,800+ Reports

There’s nothing quite like summertime – sipping a cold drink by the pool, family vacations to the beach, and mosquitoes swarming the backyard - OK, that last one hits a little too close to home.

So, now that it’s time to fire up the barbecue and get out your SPF 50, that must also mean that G2’s Summer 2025 Reports have arrived! The thousands of quarterly Market Reports feature rankings of software products and services based on the latest data. Over the last quarter, we’ve added roughly 2% more reports, totaling 25,814! Even with all of these brand-new G2 Summer 2025 Reports, only 3% of the software and services on G2 received a Leader badge. 

We’re so excited to celebrate the G2 Leaders who have earned a coveted spot in the top right quadrant of our reports and to congratulate all vendors featured this season. Let’s dive right into which vendors and products won big in Summer 2025 and the other trends we’ve seen over the past quarter.

Software Companies and Products on G2 with the Most Reports

The top 10 companies with the most reports remained intact from last season, with Adobe moving from the eighth to the seventh spot. Additionally, Microsoft appeared in 62 more reports than last quarter, while Salesforce also gained an impressive 262 more report mentions!

Regarding the top 10 products with the most G2 reports, ClickUp continues to hold its number one spot with 1,422 reports across 35 categories.

Also worth highlighting is monday Work Management, which moved from the number five spot to number four this quarter! Wrike also had impressive movement, jumping from number nine last quarter to number six. New to this list this quarter are Deel and Google Workspace.

Companies and Products With Most #1 Rankings and Highest G2 Scores

Next, let’s break down who secured the most #1 report rankings and highest G2 Scores. Starting with companies achieving the most #1 rankings, most maintained their spots from last quarter, although Github and Adobe are new entrants with 195 and 138 top rankings, respectively!

Salesforce has overtaken Google for the number one spot, while Zoho earned 25 more number one rankings than it did last season.

Let’s now take a look at top performances by G2 Score, based on reviews gathered from our user community and data aggregated from online sources and social networks. We apply a unique algorithm to this data to calculate the customer Satisfaction and Market Presence scores in real time.

A big shout out to Procore Technologies, who held on strong to their crown from last quarter, achieving the number one spot for Top Companies by G2 Score again this quarter. Asana jumped from the eighth spot in our Spring Reports to taking silver this season. monday.com also climbed the ranks, from ninth to fifth.

Also worth calling out, LambdaTest and FACTs are both newcomers to this list for Summer 2025.

The battle for the top product by G2 Score is always a fun one to watch, and this season, Adobe Photoshop took back the number one spot from Grammarly.

Adobe Illustrator jumped from our tenth spot to number six this quarter, while Google Enterprise Search, Salesforce Customer Success, and Microsoft Teams are newcomers to this list.

The Most Improved Products This Season

While we love to celebrate top performers, we want to share some praise for the most improved products over the past quarter. A big congratulations to Kytes for earning the #1 spot for our most improved products, jumping 146 spots in our Project Management category.

Several products grew enough over the last three months to move into the #1 spot in their respective categories. Subsplash also deserves a shoutout for climbing from 25th to first in Church Management software.

The Categories Growing and Emerging on G2

There are over 2,000 software and service categories on G2 – with 1,295 represented in our Spring 2025 reports.

Of those categories, E-Commerce saw the most product growth, moving to the coveted number one spot this quarter with 22 products added, which was previously held by DevOps in our Spring reports.

Now, let’s dive into the categories on G2 that feature a Grid® Report for the first time. Not all categories on G2 are reflected in our Reports. We first need to make sure there is enough data to support the analysis and rankings. According to our G2 Methodology, a software or service category becomes eligible for a Grid® Report when it has at least six products with over 10 reviews and over 150 reviews overall.

These are the 17 new report-ready categories this quarter.

New Report Ready Categories

  • AI Agent Builders – These tools are designed to build, deploy, and manage autonomous AI agents deeply integrated with a company’s data ecosystem, business processes, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • AI SDRs – These are autonomous AI agents designed to manage and optimize both outbound and inbound sales processes. These agents are deeply integrated with a company’s CRM software, sales workflows, and data ecosystem to streamline lead generation, qualification, outreach, and follow-ups
  • AI Coding Assistants – These tools leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to assist individual developers in writing, editing, optimizing, and troubleshooting code by  integrating directly into developers' environments, providing real-time support, predictive suggestions, proactive error detection, and standardized guidance aligned with organizational coding practices.
  • AI Customer Support Agents – This category features autonomous AI agents designed to manage and optimize customer service interactions across various channels. These agents are deeply integrated with a company’s CRM systems, knowledge bases, and support workflows to streamline ticket resolution, inquiry handling, and customer engagement.
  • Parking Management – These tools are used by companies to optimize parking space, manage the influx of cars, and ensure the safety of both cars and people by helping companies control access to parking locations, manage multiple types of fees, and process payments.
  • Tax Services – Tax services are offered by firms which specialize in filing and preparing taxes and are often provided by accounting firms. Tax firms use their in-depth understanding of complex regulations to offer expertise and guide corporations through the tax process.
  • User Experience (UX) Design Services – These providers help businesses make products more functional and more rewarding in general for end users and typically involve the improvement or complete redesign of the user interface (UI) on websites, games, apps, and other products
  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS)  – This type of software provides information management tools for ambulance and EMS agencies, fire departments, hospitals, and critical care services. EMS personnel and departmental management solutions include, but are not limited to, hiring and onboarding; patient records; and call, unit, station, billing, and vehicle management
  • Cloud Migration Services – These services aid in the process of moving data, product applications, and other business management documents from on-premise servers to a cloud computing environment. They’re used to move data and applications to a more effective and secure environment than on-premise servers.
  • Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) – These tools are a form of business process outsourcing where third-party providers manage all or part of a company's recruitment process. These solutions blend recruiters and technology to manage talent acquisition processes. RPO providers work with HR personnel and hiring managers by providing forecasting, sourcing, assessments, hiring, onboarding, and reporting, with the aim of streamlining the recruitment process.
  • Food Safety Management – This type of software supports and ensures maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of end-to-end food safety processes in the food supply chain based on international standards, such as the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) management standards, or the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO) Food Standards Program.
  • API Documentation Management – These tools provide reference documents for teams building and consuming APIs and serve as an instruction manual for users by explaining and keeping track of important details, including how the API was created and how it can best be utilized.
  • Exposure Management Platforms – This category contains software that allows organizations to understand their attack surface and then enable them to address it. These platforms help continuously prevent and mitigate security risks. This suite of software solutions aims not only to prevent likely attacks but also to accurately report cyber risks to ensure there is no business interruption.
  • Business Automation Platforms (BAPs) – Software in this category automate business processes and operations across enterprises to improve performance and reduce costs. These platforms can streamline different parts of the business, including customer relationship management, supply chain management, and financial operations.
  • Global Hiring Services – Also known as international hiring services, these services help companies hire workers in multiple countries by enabling organizations to employ workers legally in various locations without having to establish their own legal entity in those countries. 
  • Large Language Model Operationalization (LLMOps) – These platforms allow users to manage, monitor, and optimize large language models (LLM) as they are integrated into business applications. With these tools, businesses can deploy and operationalize LLMs built by data scientists, machine learning engineers, and developers to support a wide variety of use cases, from customer support chatbots to content generation.
  • IT Documentation – Tools in this category allow users to author, manage, and access critical technical information about an organization’s IT processes. This includes configuration details, integration guides, troubleshooting procedures, standard operating procedures (SOP), runbooks, compliance requirements, and other IT-centric documentation.
