At G2, we entered 2025 with a bang — from announcing our annual Best Software Award winners to unveiling new innovations that help software vendors reach more buyers. We also assembled our 2025 Executive Advisory Board (EAB).
As the world’s largest marketplace with 3 million verified reviews, we believe firmly in the importance of customer voice. The G2 EAB, originally formed in 2023, helps us form our strategy and provides input and insights on market trends. It’s also a great network of the world’s best CMOs.
Before I joined G2 last year as CMO, I had the opportunity to be part of this group. Now, on the other side of the fence as G2’s EAB executive sponsor, I have the privilege of receiving this direct feedback and insights that help guide G2’s strategy to ensure we’re delivering the best possible solutions and experiences to our customers.
We held our first meeting this last month and discussed emerging trends — like the ever-growing importance of reviews recency and the evolution of search in the age of AI.
